• We don’t collect or store any data about you.
• We don’t know who you are or where you live and we do not track your devices IP address.
• We ask for a name but this can be a nickname.
• All we know is what you tell us!

• Our live charts aren’t usually shared with other people, your chat stays between you and the SOS team.
• It is extremely rare that we would need to share the things we talk about with anyone else.
• We would only share the content of our chat if we felt you were in immediate danger.
• If we did have to share information, we would always discuss this with you first.

At times we might not be the service that is right for you. Where possible we will signpost you to the people that are. This is not because we don’t care about you it’s because we want to make sure that you are connected with the experts in the right area of support for you. We may be able to send details of other organisations, or help to complete referral forms.

SOS aims to provide a positive support service to young people. If you don’t feel we have done that we need to hear how we can make that right.
